Assistant Principal's Page
I am so excited to be the assistant principal at New Prospect Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. I am looking forward to the journey and am excited to see the growth of our students. My belief is that we are partnering with parents to help each student that comes through these doors be successful. Each student deserves a chance to do great things and I hope to help them achieve their goals and dreams. I am determined to do whatever it takes to make this happen.
I have been in education for 26 years, where I have experienced working with elementary, middle school, and high school students. I completed my undergraduate teaching work at the University of Kentucky and earned a graduate degree in Supervision and Leadership from Anderson University.
I am happily married to my husband Mark. We have 18 nieces and nephews (with another one on the way) and I love spending time with each of them. We also have our little fur baby Daisy Mae who adds a splash of joy to life. When I am not working, I enjoy playing different instruments and listening to music. I also love traveling to the beach and the mountains.
As we progress through the school year, my goal and commitment to each of our stakeholders is to give my best to build scholars that will impact this world positively for the good.
